Change your email
Go to your account settings and open the Account section.
Enter your new email address.
Click Save settings.
You'll need to authorize the change from your current email and verify the new one before it takes effect.
If you see "Email has already been taken"
This means another HCB account already uses the email address you're trying to switch to. HCB usually can't simply delete that account, because accounts hold financial records that have to be kept. The simplest fix is to free up the email yourself:
Log in to the account that currently uses the email you want.
Change that account's email to a different, third email address.
Go back to your main account and change its email to the one you just freed up.
No third email? Use a "plus" alias
Many email providers, including Gmail, deliver any address with a "+" in it to your normal inbox but treat it as a separate address. So if your email is [email protected], set the other account to [email protected]. It still reaches your inbox, but it frees up [email protected] for your main account.
Didn't get the verification email?
Check your spam folder first. If it's still missing, or you've lost access to your old email address, email [email protected]. The team may ask you to confirm that you own the account.
