š” First try to get a copy from the merchant. If you truly can't, click the "No/Lost Receipt" button on the transaction and upload a signed "Statement in Lieu of Lost Receipt" in its place.
Try the merchant first
Ask the merchant to reprint or re-send your receipt. A reprinted receipt is fine, as long as it meets the normal requirements and matches the transaction on HCB.
If you can't get a receipt
When a receipt truly isn't available, do both of these:
On the transaction, click the No/Lost Receipt button to mark that the original is missing.
Fill out a Statement in Lieu of Lost Receipt and upload it as the transaction's receipt.
Filling out the statement in lieu
Go to your organization's Documents and find the Statement in Lieu of Lost Receipt.
Download it and fill in everything you remember about the purchase.
Sign it, save it as a PDF, and upload it to the transaction.
Clicking "No/Lost Receipt" by itself doesn't satisfy the requirement; the signed statement is what documents the transaction.
ā ļø This applies to purchases already made with HCB funds, like card spending. It doesn't cover reimbursements: HCB can't reimburse an expense whose receipt has been lost, so you need the receipt to be paid back.
