What is Transparency Mode?

With Transparency Mode, you can open source your finances instantly from your account settings page. This means that all transactions on your HCB organization will be viewable and downloadable by anyone!

Why would you want to do that? Nonprofit donors deserve to know what their contributions are funding—as a hackathon or nonprofit, you can talk about what you’re spending money on, but transparency in every transaction builds trust for supporters.

To enable or disable Transparency Mode, goto your HCB organization's Settings page. Then scroll down under Organization details. Here you will see your Transparency Mode settings.
