How do I upload receipts?
Since we have a requirement with the IRS to show all our receipts and your organization is underneath ours through fiscal sponsorship, we ask you to upload all your receipts for funds that leave your HCB account. This includes purchases and transfers, but it does not include the fiscal sponsorship fee.
Please try to upload these receipts as soon as possible. This receipt could be a screenshot, download email, or a picture of a physical receipts. Please ensure that whatever you choose to purchase follows IRS non-profit guidelines.
If you lose your receipt, please press the "No/Lost Receipt" button.
There's three ways to upload a receipt:
1) Click the "details" for the transaction that you are uploading a receipt for. Then, you can drag and drop a receipt in or use the "upload a receipt" button.
2) You will receive a confirmation email once you've made a purchase. You can reply to that email with your receipt and it will automatically be uploaded.
3) You can sign up for SMS messages in your user settings on your HCB account. Once you've signed up, you will receive confirmation texts which you can reply to to automatically upload receipts.
